Well this is a bummer.
I will not be able to compete in June because I have to qualify for it and the qualifier is in March. I was kinda angry but then I realized this might actually be ideal. I can now lose weight/burn fat at a slower pace which will help me keep whatever amount of muscle mass I might have (it's not a lot). I also want to increase my strength and overall "athletic" performance while losing weight and burning fat at a slower pace allows that.
I've also decided to do the Paleo challenge (eating Paleo for 30 days) not because I think there's anything magical about it but because I believe it's an excellent way to become disciplined.
